Working with citizens and county officials, PATH has developed a master plan for 124 miles of trails through DeKalb County. The most recent addition for the DeKalb Trail System is the Arabia Mountain Greenway Trail which connects historic downtown Lithonia to Stonecrest Mall, the Arabia Mountain Nature Center, and over 1000 acres of forest and rock outcroppings.
The Stone Mountain Trail begins at Piedmont Ave in downtown Atlanta and ends at Stone Mountain affording access to Stone Mountain Park. The 19 mile-long trail does require on-street travel for almost 4 miles, in Candler Park and through Clarkston. The trail ends at the loop road around Stone Mountain. View Trail Details
One of PATH’s more social trails, the double-loop trail around North Fulton Golf Course and Chastain Park, is frequented by groups walking dogs, running laps, and pushing baby strollers. View Trail Details
