Atlanta Dekalb System

Working with citizens and county officials, PATH has developed a master plan for 124 miles of trails through DeKalb County. The most recent addition for the DeKalb Trail System is the Arabia Mountain Greenway Trail which connects historic downtown Lithonia to Stonecrest Mall, the Arabia Mountain Nature Center, and over 1000 acres of forest and rock outcroppings.

Stone Mountain Trail

A 19-mile trail from the Martin Luther King Center to Stone Mountain Park. Fifteen miles of this trail are greenway trails, with the remaining four miles on road. The trail continues into the park, connecting with the bike/pedestrian facility that circles the mountain. View Trail Details

Chastain Park Trail

Chastain Park

The three-mile path around Chastain Park is one of PATH's most popular trails. Surveys indicate an average of up to 250 joggers, dog-walkers, cyclists and rollerbladers use the trail each hour. View Trail Details

Nancy Creek Trail

The Nancy Creek Trail connects Murphy-Candler Park to Blackburn Park and Johnson Ferry Estates in north-central DeKalb County. View Trail Details

Whetstone Creek Trail

Whetstone Creek

This trail is built partially on an abandoned railroad and partially as a boardwalk high above a floodplain in Northwest Atlanta between Marietta Rd and Bolton Rd. The trail connects several neighborhoods to Bolton Academy and shops and restaurants along Marietta Blvd. View Trail Details
