Whetstone Creek Trail Volunteers

On a beautiful Saturday morning in March a group of neighbors surrounding the Whetstone Creek Trail in northwest Atlanta assembled for a very productive clean-up along the trail. Pictured below are some of the dedicated volunteers that came out  from the Adams Crossing and Windsor Hills neighborhoods to help clean-up the trail that weaves through their neighborhoods. The Whetstone Trail is one of our more unique trails with a stunning boardwalk and outdoor nature classroom. Just steps from Adams Drive (pictured below), the boardwalk makes you feel like you are far away from city life.  The boardwalk is suspended in the trees, high above Whetstone Creek. It’s a great place to escape for a couple of hours on a work day or weekend with the family.
