Construction continues on the Westside Atlanta BeltLine Trail between Alene and Lena Streets in southwest Atlanta. Most bridge abutments and retaining walls are in and backfilled. Most of the clearing and grading of the corridor is done. Installation of the duct bank and infrastructure for transit will be completed this fall. Actual trail construction won’t begin until around the end of the year. The entire project should be ready for your walks and rides sometime in the fall of 2017.

Construction of the Westside Atlanta BeltLine Trail project will cost about $30 million, $5 million of which was donated by the James M. Cox Foundation through PATH.
