PATH400 between Miami Circle and the Gordon Bynum Bridge near Lenox Square is finally under construction. This complicated segment was in limbo for two years while PATH dealt with issues relating to the canopy under Norfolk Southern Railroad and the proximity of the MARTA track. The segment under construction will connect the growing residential community near the Lindbergh MARTA station to Lenox Square Shopping Center, Peachtree Street, and the northern segments of PATH400 in Buckhead. The short segment of the trail along Adina between Garson and Lindbergh will be constructed beginning early next year as will the conversion of Highland Drive to a neighborhood greenway between the Gordon Bynum Bridge and Peachtree Road. PATH400 is being developed by a partnership between PATH, Livable Buckhead, the City of Atlanta, and the Georgia Department of Transportation. The segment under construction is being funded by your donations to the PATH 2016 Capital Campaign.
A special thanks to Denise Starling at Livable Buckhead and the Buckhead CID for doing a great job of promoting PATH 400. Without our great partners, PATH 400 would still be on our wish list.
