My Story:
I am the owner of 3 Parks Wine. Since 2013, we have been located on Bill Kennedy Way at the intersection of Glenwood Park, Grant Park and Ormewood Park. We’re a Black woman-owned wine shop and we specialize in providing the best service to help our customers, many of whom are regulars, pick the perfect wine, no matter the occasion. I live and work on the BeltLine, although on opposite sides of town.
Details:
I live near the BeltLine in Southwest Atlanta and enjoy runs on the Westside BeltLine Trail starting at Lee + White’s Monday Night Garage entrance. A favorite post-run activity is the $5 Thursday night burger at Best End Brewery. It felt like my little secret at first, but it’s so good I need to share it with the world! It’s still relatively quiet and serene on the Westside, but it’s also wild to watch the development happen. I hope we as a city can balance the benefits of the growth with the needs and history of the community. When I go to work, my store is quite literally on the BeltLine trail where it connects the Eastside and Southside in Glenwood Park. On the rapidly developing Bill Kennedy Way, customers can sip on wine at one of our outdoor tables and see walkers, bikers and runners coming through the newly partitioned section of our block. It’s pretty amazing.
