About: Running through mature forest and parkland, this trail is an incredible natural experience for the whole family. The trail connects to the Southwest BeltLine Connector, facilitating seamless access between southwest Atlanta and the Atlanta BeltLine. The trail is named for jazz superstar Lionel Hampton who donated much of the right-of-way for the trail in 1993. It was PATH’s first trail and is easily enjoyed by all with only a few hills to climb.
